POTENTIAL MUSIC TRACK: Monster Truck – ‘Righteous Smoke’

Monster Truck – ‘Seven Seas Blues’

• Full band performance (entirely)
• Uses silhouettes/shadows
• Weird, trippy visual effects used (saturation, duplication, splits, green screen)
• Many colours (non-realistic)
• CUs on performers and their performance (i.e. drummer’s foot, guitarist’s hands, singer’s face)
• Focus on guitarist during solo
• Lots of first person address whilst still lots of third person address
• Mostly static cam, some handi-cam

Scorpion Child – ‘Polygon of Eyes’

• Full band performance (almost entirely; parts of band walking, etc.)
• Weird visual effects
•  Many colours
• CUs on performers and their performance (i.e. drummer’s foot, guitarist’s hands, singer’s face)
• First and third person address (mostly third)
• Focus on guitarist during solo
• Vast variety of camera angles and shot types, jumping a lot
• ELS of open sky at one point as same lyric is sung
• Mostly handi-cam, some static cam

• Slide transitions (non-straight cuts)

• Almost entirely third person address (parts where 4^th wall is broken)
• Wine used at a point referencing lyrics
• Shots of band’s shadow rather than them at times
• High key lighting inside (direct light to cast shadows) and natural lighting outside
• Nearly entirely static cam, a couple of handi-cam shots
