Monster Truck - "Righteous Smoke" (2012)


Concept: A band in a small space performing and drinking together getting more drunk as the song goes on and as they get more drunk the visual effects become more intense


Location: In a warehouse or small performance environment


Narrative: Band members getting drunk and performance getting crazier


Performance: Full band, active performance with a lot of movement and jumping


Characters: 4-5 band members (Singer/bassist, 2 guitarists, drummer)


Costume: Rock attire (i.e. denim, leather, etc.)


Props: Beer, instruments (guitars, bass, drum kit, microphone), amplifiers/PA


Lighting: High key to cast shadows that can be filmed


Colour: Natural into surreal colour effects


Post-Production: Many visual effects including split screens, colour manipulation


Camera: Vast variety of shot sizes and types focussing on all band members (however predominantly on vocalist during chorus and guitarist during solo)
